Front Line Music Ministry

What is praise and worship at Coast Community like? Praise and worship at CCC is about giving God the glory and the honor that He deserves. "Frontline Worship" seeks to serve the body by inspiring true, passionate praises to our God and deep, powerful, life-changing worship as well. The team seeks to explore many different genres of music in order to appeal to the diversity of the body. Modern praise and worship songs, hymns, scripture and even silence can be used as Holy Spirit leads. The main goal of the music ministry at CCC is to allow Holy Spirit to move in the people and usher them into the presence of God.

Our music ministry is moving to be more effective in our time before the body in service and during our regular rehearsal and "off stage" ministry times. In light of this, we are working on developing the ministry into four united departments. These areas are as follows: Frontline Worship Department (CCC's praise and worship team), the Special Music Department, the Praise Choir Department, and the New Musician Development department. Our leadership is currently developing these departments and working on creating a better functioning ministry. They are also on the lookout for more members of our body to become a part of this ministry.

Currently, Roberto Rodriguez is moving into the role of "Front Line Music Ministry Director", and Brian O'Dowd is moving into the role of "Front Line Music Ministry Assistant" and remaining in his current role of "Worship Leader." We are also excited to announce that Brad Andrew will be assisting these two by working with our new instrumentalists, as well as assisting in other areas of the music ministry. Further leadership roles will be prayed over and announced as they come.

The music ministry also meets for community time. This community meets every Sunday Morning to seek the Word of God, pray together, and share with each other both the good and the bad in their lives, all for the purpose of building each other up in truth and love.
